This is up to you and based on the conversations we have prior to our first meeting. I offer a very wide range of services, so it’s generally easier to discuss this one on one. Why do you take a deposit?
A deposit is often required by most freelancers as an insurance policy, my business is no different. A lot of time and money goes into preparing for a session. It’s my policy to take a deposit from everyone who books, even longtime returning clients, so please don’t take it personally.
Please note, in the unlikely event I need to cancel a session, your deposit won’t be lost, it will transfer to a future session.
If you cancel a session after booking and paying your deposit, I will usually not return it unless I decide to do so at my own descretion.
Please note: I reserve the right to cancel a session without refund of a deposit if you attempt to push boundaries or threaten my safety.
Why don’t you show your face?
Anonymity allows me to provide a top-shelf service. If my face was well known online, I wouldn’t be able to offer the same level of discretion to my clients that I do. I am entitled to privacy and anonymity like everyone else.

In the unlikely event I need to cancel a booked session due to unforeseen circumstances on my end, your deposit will carry over for a future booking OR be refunded.
If you cancel a booking after paying your deposit, I’m afraid I cannot refund this to you. Time, money and energy goes into preparing for each session and my admin. Extenuating circumstances may apply at my discretion.
